Crash Test Dummies, a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, rose to fame in the early 1990s with their unique folk-rock sound and the deep, resonant vocals of lead singer Brad Roberts. The original lineup featured Roberts (vocals, guitar), Ellen Reid (co-vocals, keyboards), Dan Roberts (bass, backing vocals), Benjamin Darvill (harmonica, mandolin), and Mitch Dorge (drums, percussion).
