Cowboy Junkies

Formed in Toronto in 1985, Cowboy Junkies are renowned for their ethereal blend of alternative country, folk rock, and blues. The band comprises siblings Margo Timmins (vocals), Michael Timmins (guitar, songwriting), Peter Timmins (drums), and longtime friend Alan Anton (bass). Their breakthrough came with the 1988 album The Trinity Session, recorded live with a single microphone in Toronto's Church of the Holy Trinity, earning critical acclaim for its haunting soundscapes. Over the decades, they've released numerous albums, including Such Ferocious Beauty (2023), maintaining a dedicated fan base and influencing countless artists in the Americana and alternative scenes. \

Skydiggers

Skydiggers, a staple in Canada's roots rock landscape, originated in Toronto in 1987. Founded by Andy Maize and Josh Finlayson, the band quickly gained recognition for their rich harmonies and heartfelt songwriting. Their self-titled debut album in 1990 introduced audiences to their signature blend of folk, rock, and country influences. Over the years, Skydiggers have released multiple albums, with Maize and Finlayson remaining at the core, continuing to captivate audiences with their authentic sound and compelling live performances.

Tom Wilson

Tom Wilson is a multifaceted Canadian artist hailing from Hamilton, Ontario. With a career spanning several decades, he's been a pivotal figure in bands like Junkhouse and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings. Under the moniker Lee Harvey Osmond, Wilson delves into psychedelic folk, earning accolades including a Juno Award for the album Mohawk. Beyond music, his memoir Beautiful Scars reveals his journey of discovering his Mohawk heritage later in life, adding depth to his artistic narrative. In recognition of his contributions to the arts and Indigenous advocacy, Wilson was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2023.
